What is WWWSync?

WWWSync automates uploading of your web pages to a FTP server. It will upload any new or changed files to the FTP server (including and will remove any pages you've deleted locally.

Instead of having to keep track of the changes made to your Web site, so only the updates are uploaded (and possibly forgetting some pages), WWWSync works out which are the files to be uploaded. In addition any obsolete files are deleted. This is quicker than having to refresh the complete site each time (expensive on dialup line when you are talking about several megabytes).

This has been written and tested using Linux. As it uses Perl and the Net::FTP module, it should run on many platforms (including Win32).

This program is free to use. I would like you to credit its use on your web pages, but you are under no obligation to do so. I do keep a page with links to users of WWWSync.

This program comes with no warranties, express or implied. No compensation will be made for loss caused directly or indirectly by the use of this program. However, I will do my best to respond to problem reports, and requests for enhancements.
